For over a decade, we served with Cru’s Campus ministry.  During this time, our eyes were opened to the reality of abuse, oppression, and exploitation in our city, so we began working in and around Orlando with people who are often unheard and unseen. 

After several years working in the city to stop human trafficking, another need has come to our attention and the Lord has asked us to press in and make a difference for Him. As missionaries with Cru’s City ministry, we are partnering with Nathaniel's Hope to celebrate and serve kids with special needs and their families. It is a privilege to serve alongside such passionate, Spirit-filled leaders who work collaboratively and effectively to bring hope to this large but underserved population.  

Our goal is to bring the HOPE of Christ to families who often never feel connected with any community due to the ongoing care that is necessary for their children. We are training churches around the country on how to invest in these families and help them experience the love of Christ through respite care. In Orlando and a growing number of cities, we celebrate kids with special needs, our VIPs, with huge celebrations and regular events to help them know they are loved and are made for a purpose.
